Heaven was opened July 2006 in Bovina, NY. Set in the western catskills it is surrounded by pure beauty and fresh air. We make everything by hand using local and organic ingredients as much as possible and of course never any kind of preservatives! We believe that treats can be nutritious too! Using a variety of natural sweeteners we are able to make delicious high end products without sacrificing any taste.

Taylor’s diffident response to the question “What do you want to be when you grow up:” was: “A Bakery!”. Having always been driven by a passion for baking she has now fulfilled her life long dream of being “a bakery”! After attending the Culinary Institute of America she went and lived in Paris as a fashion model. Her years of traveling as a model imbued a unique sense of flavor on her palate which can be seen through all of the original combinations she uses! Taylor re-discovered her love of chocolates while working at Restaurant Daniel. Having been taught by master confectioner Peter Grewling, she now creates special order chocolates for her clients along with her delicious desserts!

Joshua was faced with a decision years ago – photo school or culinary school? He choose photo school, the Colorado Institute of Art, but he always kept a keen interest in food! Working in the still life photo world gave him his detailed eye, while traveling with bands on tour brought out his love of landscapes. He now shoots fashion and landscapes and still manages to help Taylor perfect that which is 'heaven'!
